Couple years ago the building, where Apartamenty Pod Słońcem (Eng. Apartments Under the Sun) is placed, changed its owner and was completely rebuilt and renovated. All of the apartments were designed in a regional highlander wooden style with hand carved furniture. From the west-facing windows in the apartments, you can see a significantly beautiful mountain panorama, and Giewont seems like it is at your fingertips. The traditional wooden houses in our neighborhood are bringing back the pervasive highlander culture. From the other side of the guesthouse, you can see a small historic wooden church, which was designed by a student of the great Stanisław Witkacy Witkiewicz and built with the participation of Count Zamoyski in the end of 19th Century.
Our guesthouse is located in the heart of Kościelisko - a village in the vicinity of Zakopane, only a 10-minute drive away from Krupówki street. There is a grocery store right across the street, only 2-minute walk to the bus stop and a 10-minute walk to a restaurant which is serving local dishes and delicacies. We are currently not providing any catering services for our guests, although we provide fully equipped kitchenettes where you can prepare meals on your own. You can also have a barbecue or a campfire in the garden. Families with children are very welcome, as when needed we can supply each apartment with a travel crib.
A large free parking space is available in front of the building. It is closed for the night and has a video surveillance system.
Smoking is not allowed on the whole property, though there is a smoking shelter in the garden with a mountain view.
